Following deliveries of 200 vehicles by the end of 2007, the Berlin Transport Authority (BVG) has ordered a further 200 MAN Lion’s City DD double-decker buses. The new order should be completed by 2010 and is worth about $130 million. The MAN Lion’s City DD is one of the new completely low-floor double-decker generation for Berlin, which has been at home on the streets of Berlin since 2004. The Lion’s City DD won the renowned iF Award for its exceptional design in 2006.
