1973 Ward LaFrance Fire Truck: 1:50 Scale Diecast Fire Truck LACoFD - Engine 51 by Iconic Replicas

I've been a fan of the show Emergency! since I was a kid. In the past I purchased the Code 3 Collectibles Emergency! pieces, which were the most accurate and detailed Emergency! vehicles produced to that point. Until now. I received the Iconic Replicas Squad 51 last year for Christmas and I love it, but they have outdone themselves with the Ward Engine 51. Pretty much every detail has been captured. Right down to the dials on the pump panel! The 1:50 scale makes more details possible than 1:64 scale models. I look forward to the future Emergency pieces!!

The engine arrived well packed and in good condition.
Now...the hard part. We ordered the engine 6 months ago. We received exactly two notices that the engine would be delivered 'soon'...how soon? The dates kept being pushed back. I sent personal emails asking fir an update. No response. After crowing about THIS is the real engine...accept no substitutes..

Added to my collection, can’t wait to see the job they do on the Crown Fire Coach engine.

I grew up watching emergency and became a first responder that was my dream and my goal I ended up flying with the LA County Fire Department as a safety visual lookout for the crew, I enjoyed the Emergency series very much and dedicated my service.
