Remembering 75 years of the end of the greatest war conflict of the 20th century first gear released back in 2006 this World War II International K11 model as a replica of the trucks used back then to promote the efforts to fund the high cost of war..."Buy War Bonds" was the campaign here at home to support our boys fighting over seas. The ESTES express lines company painted its truck with the american flag and advertised the bonds every where they drove. The efforts of the day helped the Allies and the USA win the war. This is a very especial model, unique in many aspects.
