The US M1128 Stryker Mobile Gun System (MGS) is an eight-wheeled armored vehicle designed for fire support and antitank missions. The 2nd Cavalry Regiment based in Germany was the first unit to receive the upgraded Mod. version in 2020. The MGS is armed with a 105mm cannon and is also equipped with advanced targeting systems and night-vision capabilities.
The M1128 Stryker MGS has seen action in the Iraq War and the War in Afghanistan, providing critical fire support to ground troops in both conflicts. Its mobility and versatility make it an important asset on the modern battlefield.
